my box flexes a little bit , its really stiff you have to really push on it to tget it to flex , i know i will lose output because of this , however , how much will i lose ? If i decide to slap some bondo over it to smooth out the rough parts before i cover it with carpet , will the bondo crack once its all hardened up if the box does flex ?

Should i keep doing glassing until there is NO flex at all ?

Or add a few 1" long strips of mdf to the insides. Space them out evenly, you would only need 2-3 on an average sized box. These can be glassed in no problem. However, perhaps you need to add a few more layers.

My new kicks have the same problem. You will want to take care of it quick. Mine resonate at like 90hz because I only did one layer of fg cloth over the sides. It makes for an annoying hum.

Tomorrow I start on my *second* set of kicks, and I might work some more on my first and put them in my bro's car, since he has the exact same model.

ive got probably 6-7 layers on the back and 3-4 on the sides where it curves , i put 5 2x4 braces running fom the top to the bottom screwed and glued in there , it doesnt flex NO MO , i do have a little leakage that i'm going go take care of this morning with some silicone , i'll post updates pics soon
