fiberglass box plans

i am planning on making two fiberglass boxes to fit in my 06 dodge ram quad cab, i had just wanted to make the boxes by laying chicken wire down to make the mold and then fiberglass around it, is that possible?

umm..yaeh...thats possible

better yet, try some wide (2" or so) painter tape (the blue stuff) on the truck panel(s) and apply a layer of fiberglass on it. let it harden and pull it up from the tape, then take off the tape.

how would i cover up to the top of it, if i just do it to the bowl of the storage compartment how would i make a top for it

Well you would use 3/4" MDF Or make a Speaker ring out of 3/4" MDF then pull fleese over it & glass it..
