Fiberglass box for 12" XXX *pics*

I got them done like right when I got my W-2. That's free money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

kinda

Finally got it done & carpeted tonight. It came out pretty smooth, with one seam in the back where you can't really see it. But now I have no amp. Sold my POS xplod today, and am waiting for my tax return to order another amp. I'm stll trying to decide which amp to get. I'm stuck between the Hifonics 1500, the Directed 1200d. I want the nine.1 but they are backordered for another month, and I can't wait that long.

I think that's what I'm gonna do. I just don't like the idea of ghetto wire terminals on the Directed. I was trying to search for the fix but I couldn't find out how. How do you change it to regular terminals, like on the hifonics or the nine.1?

Thanks

That looks clean. Nice install! How long did the entire process take? I'm looking into doing something like that with 2 Power HX2 15"s. Gonna take a while longer though.

It took me all of last weekend to get it pretty much done. Working on it all day. Then it took about 20 minutes to carpet it tonight. It's not really all that hard, just very time consuming.

You need to get the thin carpet from a stereo shop. I tried the stuff from Home Depot with the rubber backing and it was ridiculous trying to do it. With the right carpet, I just did the baffle first, then pulled it straight down and towards the back. I kinda pulled it sideways towards the back of the box where it's against the seat where you can't see it. Then there is a seam back there.

Here's some pics of the false floor I built today. I also ran 1/0 wire back there. All I need now is an amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
