Fiberglass box for 12" XXX *pics*

This is my first attempt at fiberglassing, with the help from all of the tutorials on here. Here's what I got done yesterday, I added a few more layers this morning and am hoping to be done by tonight. I will post more pics later.

The car is a Scion xB.

It's for an XXX 12. I am gonna be carpeting it. I have about 4 layers so far on the base (I'm not sure the weight of the mat, it's the bondo stuff from Home Depot)and it seems really sturdy. I read somewhere on here that if you push with your thumb and it doesn't flex, that it should be good. How can I tell when it's thick enough?

people are usually able to stand on it without it breaking when theyre done.

It's all done now, got it hooked up and I am bummed. I have a shitty xplod 1200W amp, that supposedly puts out 500 RMS, and I was hoping it would be decent for about two weeks till I can afford a nine.1. But it is REALLY weak.

How many of you have XXXs in a sealed box, is it alot louder ported?
