I want to try and hit 140 db's with two of the Fi X 12" series subs. They are only 250 watts rms a piece but I plan on giving them more. This isnt a question on how loud my set up will be crap. Im just asking if it seems sensable or should I go a different route and not even try this..

I think its possible..

I know that there's a member on here who has 2 Memphis PR 12s and he has broken the 140 mark a long time ago with them(they're rated at 250 rms)

But I don't have any experience with Fi X subs fyi.

Its gonna be a daily driver on music and im just trying to be different by trying to hit a 140 dbs with such a low powered system..

Depends on the vehicle on what your idea of daily is. Might take a few boxes to get the right sq and spl, but thats half the fun right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Honestly..I wish I could find the pictures..

I remember going to a show a few years back, and a guy in a hatchback civic burped a 145 with 2 12" Sony Xplodz, and was playing music at 140.x

Weirdest looking effing box I've seen in my life. Big o Kicker 1500 running the pair.

Wish I could find the pics, but if they could do that, Fi X should be able to do 140..IMHO

question!, i purchased a pair of fi X 10's for my friend and he didn't have a very proper amp for them. i forgot what impedance ratings those subs are. can anyone tell me if they are D2 or D4 or S2 or S4?
