fi ssd 18s

ok guys. few questions regarding these subs. looking at going with 2 of the 18 inch ssds dual 1 ohm vc. first question is im putting them in a 86 2 door blazer and from my calculations the largest box i can fit without and major caculations/ fancy cutting is gonna be 11 cubic feet before driver displacement and port. fi is recommending 6-10 cubic feet. is this gonna be a problem and if so what kinda size sealed box would work well. i could go with the 15s but with such little price diffrance it just dont make sense. second question is i currenty have one alpine v12mrd-m1005 mono block rated at 700x1 at 2 ohms and 12vs so i plan to buy one more and run one for each sub. will these amps have enough grunt for this setup?? ok and finally last question lol. i have considered selling this anp i already have but i also have a mrv-f345 4 channel v12 also so i would like them all to match. what would you guys recommend as far as front stage to maximize this 4 channel. its only rated at 50x4 at 12vs and i do not think i can bridge it into 2 channels only 3 so im thinking a componant set thats bi ampable like the type xs maybe?? thx

You are going to have a giant hump in your upper response and very little low end if you were to use that enclosure. If that's the room you have available, I would look at either sealing the 18's or changing to a pair of 15" SSD's ported.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif sounds good lol. ill take your word on that. what about the front stage question. maybe its just me but does 1400 watts on 2 15s and then 200 watts on the front stage gonna be a little underpowered?? im kinda more into the club kinda sound more than really heavy bass. im thinking maybe i should sell the 345 and go with the 545 4 channel instead. i know there are better amps out there but my whole system is all alpine minus the speakers and i just kinda wanna keep it all the same as stupid as it sounds. thx for the help also:toast: oh should also mention i plan to run the front stage in either kick panels or door pods
