OKAY Bimma, say I want to do a vented box at about 3CF with a tuning FRE at about 31 hz........Are you trying to tell me that I wouldn't be able to figure that out what the port size would be even if I asked questions?

If i take 14, that would give me a 46.2 Square " port 23" in length and 2" wide? Wtf........I am getting aggrivated. Is there a site that you know that's accurate? Or how about a 15" port by 3" wide?

Alright what the **** r u asking? What is the point of this thread? To find port area, take the height x the width....what the hell is so hard?

How Bout you do this, tell me what the max height is on the box you want to make.

Once you figure out that, take 1.5inches off that and that will be the height of your port. So say your height of your box is 16 inches. Well then you take 1.5" from that and you end up with 14.5" So your port is 14.5" by ???

Just say 14.5x3, giving you 43.5sq inch of port area.

I dont know how big the box you want to make is, but say you want to make it 3.5cf, tuned to uhh 32hz.

This would give you a port length of...27.25 inches. Just make an L-port with the 1 panel going back the width of your box minus the 3 inches of port width ( port must be 3 inches all around )

So say your box is 30 inches deep. You would have one panel that is 25.5" and the other being only 1.75" by the height of 14.5. It's really not that hard.

the sub has a max of 27mm that makes the port huge but

if I make the box plan with a max mm of 20 the box has 58.125 square inches
