Also, I have heard nothing but good things about their subs, but I don't know if I can trust a company that's only dedicated to online sales........

uhhh, im running 56 and its plenty. Although it does move a ton of air through that port, but i don't see any need to go bigger.

You can trust the company too. Theres an interview with the owner on here somewhere(don't know where). Sounds like a really good guy and takes exceedingly large ammounts of pride in his company and his product.

You all are talking to guy guy who has done dozens of HU/Amp/Sub installs but this will only be the second box I am about to make, and the first had the recommended port size with it.

If you're good with wood, I'd just have someone(that knows what they are doing) design a box for you. Would be money well spent imo.
