Fi Q 15" Box.

I "believe" the bigger port area is more of an SPL design, so it "might" affect SQ some. You don't need more than 12^2 for what you're doing, that much I'm sure of. The box I did was exactly that and has very good SQ and output...

sounds good. i just want the box to fill as much of the trunk area as possible. also a bigger box = more efficient , right?

came up with this - http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp?Ew=29&Eh=15&Dia=9&Xmax=18&Vd=.19&NumW=1&Vb=3.8&Fb=30&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0

13^2 in per cuft , 34 in long.

the build may start later than expected as the seller ran into some problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif .

You'll want the box at least 16" tall....Also you can go 4+ cubes if you so desire...

why 16" tall? itll be 15.75" with the double baffle. sub up port back. i should be able to get away without bracing , right?

also , i may be getting a car soon and gonna build another box for that.

i should be good with either of those , right?

again , thanks for all the help.

Looks good. Be sure to give feedback on how it sounds when you're done...

will do.

if , i only had like 2 or 3 more clamps id almost be done. and the piece i thought i could use as a double baffle is 30 x 24" and i need it to be 29 x 25.5". so close. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

could i do without a second baffle or should i throw one on just to be safe?

pictures shortly.

pics.

none of the clamps are deep enough to get to the port walls. used a scrap piece to help out.
