no intention of putting the Q down either. I think it's quite a performer. My brother's old 12" Q was impressive and he regrets selling it.

We took the GF's car out to dinner tonight and the Q just wasn't that impressive after listening to my hd3 earlier. Q does sound good and hits pretty hard, just no comparison...

If/when I upgrade she usually gets my hand-me-downs, but the RL-P's moved into the house. The HD3 would be too loud for her.

For what she wants/listens to the Q is an excellent sub.

OK....just downloaded a bunch of "all that remains" and listening to SIX right now. The double kicks are so fast & furious I really don't see how anyone could tell if a sub was missing a beat here or there....IMO

Guess I'll have to try it out in the car and see what happens.
