Should I get an aq1200d or an sax 1200d. I want this system to last a long time so any opinions are wanted. Should I be looking for something else or are these amps good choices to constantly run @ 1 ohm daily. Thanks for the help

I have that amp in my car (aq1200d)...this amp has not given me any problems at all running it at 1ohm. I've had a couple different amps ( Sundown audio sae1200v1, MA Audio hk4000, Powerbass asa1000) none of those compair to the quality of the aq1200d. The sundown is good but it always went into protect and was constantly in the shop. I've heard the new ones are better...although I havent ran them myself. You cant beat the customer service with AQ either. Holidays and weekends DJ and his wife are there for you...they will call you back and get to the bottom of your issue. I have bummped that amp in 100 degree weather in a black car and it NEVER went into protect. I recently upgraded to the 2200...AQ is just a really good product.

appreciate the info, sounds good to me I think I will give it a shot. now if I run this with the fi Q will there be any clipping since the rms is 1000 or should I just turn the gain down on the amp? and will the electrical in my car be okay I have a 09 honda civic coupe?
