Fi Q 10'' D2 help me

Hi guys what would you do for a single Fi Q 10'' D2 i really don't have a lot of space in my trunk (vw cabrio 1996) Fi recomendation are .6-1.2 ft3@28-33Hz but i need it a little higher when i remove my top. Help my please!!

I prefer ported enclosure but if you really suggest sealed i'll try it

You could do a big sealed box, and buy the Q with the high QTS option if you wanna go sealed.

but i'd do 1.75cuft at 32hz your box wont be any bigger than 30x15x15

you don't think 32Hz will be too low i was thinking about 36-38Hz because at 60mph on highway with the top removed i don't think i'll heard the 32Hz??

If you tune the box higher then you will lose output on your lower frequencies.

Tune the box the way it's supposed to be. That Q is going to hate a higher tuned box. I would tune 30-32. 1.5 cubic feet, depending on power.

Mine are in a box tuned to 32htz and they hit higher frequencies just fine but get nasty on the lows

what amp are you pushing the sub with?

My amp is a Sundown SAE-1000D...i'll try it with 1.5ft3 @ 32Hz maybe 1.2ft3 if i don't have enough place

You can do 1.2 since you have plenty of power, I would tune lower than 32. I would do 30. (I've owned a Q).

if u want to save space just go the aero route....will save space
