fi BTL 15 vs Audioaue HD3 15

what do you guys think about these 2 subs??? which 1 would be best 4.... ported for daily pound'n & great sq. goin in a 2000 grand prix w/ a MMATS DHCx2200.1 amp

with the SQ id go with the hd3..but if ur looking for mainly spl then BTL..

I would have figured it to be the other way around... but i may be wrong...

i just cant pick between the 2 :~/ i have read a bit more bout the BTLs (loaded) i do that audioque is close to DD subs. iam just want'n a single 15 setup that will out-paly(all around louder, not just peak louder) than current system(4 jl audio 12w3v2 sealed 5.75cuft)

i would personally go with aq... but thats me...

yes the hd3 is alot like dd's 9500's...

HOWEVER... it does not have as good as efficiency at disbursing heat. so it can only take so much power past 4kw...

and it has different suspension...

other than that it is built by the son of the owner of dd ( jassa)

thats my 2 cents....

both of these subs are more on the spl side of the spectrum...

many have people have said 2500RMS Loaded BTL

theres also that 2 yr warranty on the AQ, although you will probably never use it, and none on the BTL...but flip a coin...

Like others have said... with a coin flip Im sure you would be happy either way. They are both quite capable subs in a proper instal.

Id go with the btl with cooling. That driver is designed to be beaten on a daily basis.

Also the aQ's fs is really high if its like a dd which would make it less desireable for a daily

thats my 2 cents....

just wanted to comment on this- it is WRONG. owner of audioque is the father of owner of dd, not son... other than that, im sure jmanjr will chime in soon, telling you to get audioque, and contact jerimiah about the box, yada,yada,yada... id go with audioque as well...

HD312 = 33hz

BTL = 39hz
