never used AQ, but i couldnt ask for more customer sevice wise from Fi

both subs are very capable, you wouldnt go wrong either way

i've never heard anyone complain one bit about dj as well...

heck, i've even purchased from him...no complaints here...

listen, DJ Made custom plans for my car before i ever gave him a dime for a driver. for all he knew i was going to just buy one used and he would be helping me out for no reason. but no, we traded over 25 emails so he could get every angle of my trunk and he sent me custom plans. Even though i have never herd a HD15 or 12, just the customer service makes me recamend AQ. If the driver i get is half as nice as everyone claims, ill be happy. AQ all the way.

if your scared of boners why did you get btl's? HD3's are no bigger of a boner now than the btl's where after the 12 inch test session?...

he is def one amazing guy...and i also thought to myself, if he treats me this good before even buying anything, imagine how it'd be after buying...(kinda like that progressive comercial )

everyone used to not think as high about the hd3, one reason i didnt look at them when i had my MTs a while back

just the way people talk about stuff when its a boner, type R's were the worse, everyone thought they were god

i wouldve glady got other subs, i just needed 2 18s, not that many choices and also needed them to handle ~2500rms also narrows down the choices

BTLs are supposed to be good daily so i got them, if DD woulda had their 18s out i might of gotten them, but they were not out yet

both subs are going to get loud

isnt the hd3 the same as one of the dd9500 series motors? forgot which series, i wanna say B or C

side note, what series DD 9500 motor was the loudest typically?
