if you were truly running 2kw on that alt, it would drop to 12v even at it's peak efficiency.

if so then i guess its not a true 2k. not once have i had a single voltage drop:wow:

at 100% efficiency, 2kw would be somewhere close to 166amps @ 12 volts and 144 @ 14 volts

no amp (that I know of) runs 100% efficient, and the car has other power requirements(lights, fans, ignition etc) that draw from that 130 A

Output could be reduced due to the load, how are your subs wired and voice coil configurations?

it is possible that the L7's you have would be pretty loud in a wall. try using the equipment you have in a wall....then if you want louder you can change the baffle on the enclosure and cut new holes
