I built a box over the summer with (1) 3'' aero and had it firing to the side and it was considerably less loud than one that I built with (1) 3'' aero firing up. That's why I want to give (2) 3'' aeros firing up a try.....the box I built with (1) 3'' firing up had a lot of port noise.

Here are the finished pics....I don't have any from when I was putting it together though. Not sure how or if I'll paint it or carpet it. I only had the weekend to put it together because I have all the tools at home and I'm back at school for a while (2.5 hrs away). It gets sooo much louder than the two 10'' sealed icons, but doesn't sound as good obviously.

Thanks. It get's pretty loud for what it is. And even though it's tuned kind of high it has no problem picking up the lower notes.

Yea man box looks real good. Tomorrow im gonna swing by my buddies house and snap a couple of pics of his box. His setup is alittle bit different from yours but the same kinda idea. Its hard to describe without pics so ill get on it.

Thanks. That's cool, I always love seeing regular cab setups. I've had at least 10 different types of subs in there, most being in pre-fab boxes. I just recently got into making my own and it's so much more satisfying to know you did it yourself, and it sounds a LOT better too.

Yea you get alot more output when you put a good sub in a good box. It really is a night and day difference. This is only the second setup he has had in his truck. The other was a 15 Q in 2cuft sealed off 1400wrms. It absolutly murdered the lows. His back glass moved at least an inch. But it took up way to much space. We cut out the center console so its like bucket seats now. ill show you tomorrow.
