Few box Q's.

I am building my new box this weekend. I need some help on the tuning of the box itself. I need to know what is a good range for 2 '05 Type R 12's with about 2.6 cuft. per. I was thinking around 30-32hz. Now how do i determine the tuning ? Is it port length and width or what? Also, these are going in the back of a 95 Tahoe, what would sound better, speakers pointed up and port facing back or subs and port facing the rear? That is all I need for now. Thanks for any help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Do the subs up and the port in the rear thats normaly the best for most suvs. I found for smaller suvs the subs pointing the rear with the port is normaly louder to the ear.

we just did this one 2 days ago and its loud

Now, can anybody help me out with the port size/tuning issue please? Right now I have my post width of 3" wide for both sides (total of 6" wide port) with the rear port being 3" also and an 8" opening from the chamber into the port. The total length of the port for each side is 28.5" long and 13" tall.
