I was lookn to buy a motorcycle for several months over the fall and winter of last yr and up till now. And what I have found out, alot of people try to scam using escro. They want you to use the one they choose, then put it in someone elses name the money etc. And I have read tons of bad deals, so I personaly wouldnt do it. But if the kid is a active member and has many refs to vouch for him, I might consider but for someone I dont know. That is just my two, but I would watch out for escro and do some reading its not as good as people think.
I understand what you mean entirely, im in now ay vouching for all escrows but I will for that person and that one. I've used him myself and so have a ton of other people on that board and no1 has ever yet to havea problem in over 2 years.

well thats good to give a heads up on, but just I have seen to many horror stories online about them just things I have read, so I have steered away from considering that. And I personaly wouldnt sell that way neither and I wont consider it hurting me any. I have delt with ecoko and hes a good kid to deal with and says the truth about the items he has if theres a scratch here or there. He dont try to act like I dont know what happend and this means alot to people buying online knowing every detail. Jasons a good guy to work with and hope to buy from him again my self.
All i did was offered him escrow because 1300 is a lot of money. Then he wanted 1400 because he got into an accident. I was like ok sure throw in some stuff and he threw in a wirelesscard that had been stepped on a corner was broken, but i guess it still works. But refused to do escrow. Then he AIMs me and tells me he'll do escrow for 1500. Thats outragous. I already gave him an extra 100 for nothing, and now he wants another 100? I have feedback too, i sell and buy things all the time on forums, sounddomain being one of my main ones. I wanted to do MO or cashier's check thats why i told him escrow, so it would be safe for him too. Reason why i didn't do paypal was, i had a limit on my card and i already had the cash in hand. But its ok, i went with my sister to Fry's and got a nice 17" laptop for around 1800. With 1 gig ram and the works.

If he cant do his asking price, then dont do business with him...sounds like a growing amount of BS to me.

He told me he was going to buy my PC and said he wanted a 17" and i told him id look for one and see if i can get it to him, then i im him and tell him i couldnt and he said forget it, the PC i was giving you for $900 wouldnt even touch the one that you will get, and you can get a 17" off newegg for $100, not ragging on you or anything but you made me take all those pics and answer questions for nothing. Now i see why people say that you bid but never pay.
