Thats around 8.5 cubes external. For the price, a single 18 is your best bet. Being a single sub (saves you money) it doesnt need as much power as 2 or 3 subs (saves you more money) and because of this, you could get away with a stock alt most likely (saves you even more money).

Personally, if it were me, I would cram 2 15 in there.

I would love to fit 2 15's in, even if they were given a little less space then ideal. I'm content with the idea of paying for 2 subs since I was pretty much dead set on paying for 3, which would put me at nearly 700 bucks. 2 15's saves me about 200 bucks. And since I could throw a 2200D to each one, I'd save money there since I was possibly planning to put a 2200D to each 10. Even if I did a 1200D to each sub I'm still coming even in price.

Definately. I would just build the biggest box possible, and do both subs and port up.

You'll find $2000 is even not good enough, that's the case. Never content. A lot more are better than ours. As for me, since I don't get additional amp, just built in. so spend only less than $1500. So I think I'm gonna try to fit 2 15's and make the biggest box possible.
