Feedback/Rumbling Noise

Today, I installed two 10" subs in my new Accord. No head unit because it came with a nice 6 disc MP3 system. I installed a in-line converter to the two rear speakers and grounded it in a good location. Systems sounds great but I am getting some feedback (rumbling noise) when I am driving, even when my stereo is turned off. Suggestions?

Thanks.

check your ground on the converter if it has one, and on your wiring also. is it a cheap converter from ebay? or did you do it right and buy a nicer one. I have a cheap $11 from ebay and plan on buying a proper $100+ one better sound and no garbage stuff goin on. when on the gas sounds like alt whine to me, are your rca's and your power wire on opposite sides of the car, I have been told it makes a diff. Also did you splice in at the speakers or behind the hu. At first I did the speakers but moved it behind the hu and it sounded a ton better and not as much noise(but mine is a bose factory amplified system acura)
