Feedback on possible purchase

Hey Guys,

Last year I bought an AVIC-4000NEX head unit, as well as replaced the 6x8's with Pioneer TSD6802R in my F150. Well, this upgrade lacked any lackluster, as the head unit only puts out 13watts. So I am starting to design my amp setup, and I have some questions:

Hifonics amps seem on the low end, but they have pretty good reviews no matter what site I visit. Seems best bang for the buck and they are only 2.4" tall so I am going to go with them. 2.5" is all the room I have to work with if I want to mount them behind my rear seats.

To run my 4 6x8's, a Hifonics ZRX1016.4 1000w 4-channel. I will be upgrading my internal speaker wiring to run this amp and the 6x8's.

My truck has very little space under the rear seat, so I am going to have to go with shallow subs and a tiny box. The Truck Box has .85cf and 1cf per sub and a mounting depth of 5inches.

Thinking about getting these kicker 12's, low profile - SVC 4ohm - 800w peak, 400w RMS. Running on a Hifonics BRX2016.1D Brutus 2000w amp. I would wire the subs for a 2ohm load. I am not quite sure how to calculate this, at 1 ohm they would be receiving 1000w peak from this amp right? Is 2ohm 500w peak?

I am running an optima yellow-top battery, and I am thinking 0 Gauge wiring would be enough to handle all 3000watts? Do you think I would have to upgrade my alternator? And as long as I have a decent battery, I should not need a capacitor correct?

I am thinking of wiring 0ga from battery to a 1to2 power distribution block(PDB) mounted near my amps, then 0ga from PDB to each amp using a 0/4ga Reducer. What size fuse would I need near the battery, and should I get a PDB with its own fuses as well? What size fuses for the PDB?

I haven't purchased anything yet, so I am open to all advice and product changes. I just want to get a decent sounding setup without breaking the bank.

you can get better sound from smaller subs that are the same price ,and amps that are cheaper. consider a ppi 900.4 and ppi1000.1, or even a ppi900.5

If you give us a budget we can recommend equipment the hifonics amps are cheap for a reason. Also if you raise or move the rear seat forward a bit. It will give you more options for subs

Price really isn't an option for me, what is an option is what I can fit under my rear seat. I don't want to install any seat kits, nor build a custom box. So I am trying to find the best setup that will work with what I got. For fun, lets say $1000 is my budget for 2 amps(one to power my doors, and one for subs, possibly single 5 channel?), subs, wiring, odds and ends and the box.

The truck is a 2009 Ford F150 Crew Cab with a Pioneer 4000NEX and (4x) Pioneer TSD6802R in all the doors.

Good amps alone will run you $500-$700 that will fit your needs and fit under the front seats The subs if you got 5" mounting depth. Then the sundown sd v3 might be the ticket. Amp kit and big 3 are gonna be $200 for Ofc and $150 for cca bow will depends on what's made for you truck if your looking at a prefab. The only one I'd look at would be qlogic. Or better yet talk to csc Stang

So without a rear seat riser/extension the pre-fab boxes I see have 5" mounting depth. The sub would also have to work great with less than 1cf of space. Are you thinking of a dual 10" SD-3 10 D4?
