if it makes a difference, AQ recomends fairly high tuning, and they are by no means a sq sub, but they will get loud for sure

Level 4 gets stupid low, keeps SQ, and can get loud as hell. they work well in small boxes and larger boxes, sealed and ported, Its the best selling woofer I carry for a good reason. I had two 15" lvl 4's on a SAZ 3500, took it like champs. miss that old build

Ive never ran a HDC, so I dont really have any hands on experience with that sub. I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with a level 4.

You think a 650 rms amp at 2 ohms would be enough to push 2 15" AQ sdc's? And have it produce the right amount of bass? Thats 650 for both, NOT 650 for each sub.
