Hey people!

Was just wondering if this is possible...... I have a Kicker zx460, a four channel amp that is 1 ohm stable on each channel. As of now, All i have running of this amp is a pair of Pioneer TS-D160R in the rear which is rated at 60rms and a pair of pioneer TS-C160R componet set in the front also rated at 60rms....... so here is my qustion

My amp is 30rms x4 @ 4ohm, 60x4@2ohm and 90x4@1ohm. I currently have 3watts going into each speaker. Is it possible to somehow decrese the impedence to "fool" the amp in thinking that it's a 2ohm or 1ohm load? I want to get some more power into each of them. I don't want to buy another amp because personally, I think this kicker amp is really good.

not sure if it can be done, but your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

Wire the right side in parallel, wire the left side in parallel. You'll get a 2 ohm load. Of course, your car will only be a 2 channel vehicle. There's no good way to fool an amp other than add more voice coils.
