Another quick wiring question

Anyone who owns a mustang. I own a v6 2000 mustang without the mach system. I had my CDA-7894 installed by some guys in the shop. I didnt really have the car long enough to tell how much of a difference it made in the loudness of the speakers, and i have felt that they arent all that loud. Are there any factory amps in my car? Is it possible i am not using the amps in my deck, but instead, still using factory amps?

usually they wont interface an aftermarket face with a stock amp because stock amps are not the same as regular amps, they usually use a special harnesss and are ment to be used with the stock face. i dont know if you had a stock amp, but unless you asked them to, i doubt they are still usuing it, keep in mind that the new head unit will yield an improvment in quality more then loudness (although both should occur to some extent)....if they are not loud enough i would replace them and amp the new set.....but your going to have to fork out some cash for that one, especially if your not confortable doing it yourself.
