Favorite iPhone Apps

Lol, a sheep?? I believe Ive stated that I own plenty of Apple products, to include my wife's I5. And I love how you bash "facial recognition" simply because the iphone dont have it.. here are a few more features you can bash:

-Biometric scanning

-upgrade-able storage

-Quad-core processor

-Battery life (which we already covered.. when mine dies, I buy another for 30bucks.. you buy a whole new phone)

-5.5'' screen

-Powermat capable without excessive hardware (apple does not put inductive-charging chip's in their phone)

-NFC

Again, and again, and again.. these are just a few things apple dont offer you but what they do offer is "Apple map".. LOL!! NO BODY wants apple maps! But continue to bash the features you apparently have never used being a loyal Isheep.. people will always hate what they cant have.

now to respond to your statements

1) Keep hating

2) Seriously? get on ebay/craigslist.. bricked iphones all over the place! "CANNOT" is a bit of an overstatement.. and if an android phone (such as the Note II or S3) have more features and capabilities than any other phone on the market, why fix whats not broken?

3)task manager was not the point of that post. Of course EVERY smartphone has one, the point was batterylife

4) I am truly happy for you bro, you bought a phone and had to go home to do software tweeking to get it to the level of the S3.. good job. BTW, the apple maps arent something to brag about, so having "both" is laughable.

Dude, you are a sheep. You cant help but crush them? EVERYTHING YOU LISTED THAT THE GALAXY CAN DO SO FAR I CAN DO.. so you're points are all invalid. You said the technology is amazing and the iphone cant compare. They do the same ******* thing. Lets start here.
1) Because apple decides not to put that garbage software "facial recogniition" that no body uses. If you are a 13 year old asian girl who requires all these pointless features, then jailbreak your iphone and it does everything an android can do. Done, end of story., No contest.

2) jailbreaking takes about 5 minutes. You CANNOT brick your phone, even a monkey can do it. HOWEVER, if you try to flash/rom your android, you CAN brick it very easily.

3) ... yeah.. why the **** did you even bring task manager up? both phones can do it.. so wtf is your point

4) umm.. I have google maps and apple maps on my iphone 5, unjailbroken with the latest update... soo... again.. wtf is your point. I have both, you only have one.

You have stated NOTHING that a samsung galaxy can do that an iphone cannot do. I can do everything you can do, but better.

Sorry bro.

Game over,

You lost, and your plastic junk phone suxx

WHY ARE YOU STILL BITCHING ABOUT APPLE MAPS? I HAVE GOOGLE MAPS ON IOS6 AND ITS NOT JAILBROKEN.... ARE YOU RITTARD? I DIDNT DO ANY "SOFTWARE TWEAKING" TO MY IPHONE 5 EVER

-Biometric scanning again, like stated, this is software stuff, not hardware, and doable by all phones. I have no use for it because its not technically real biometric scanning, it just uses photographs from the camera app and software analyzes the photographs unlike a real biometric scanner that cannot physically be built into a phone at this point in time

-upgrade-able storage big deal, I have 64gb of storage and I have never even used half of it not to mention unlimited cloud storage

-Quad-core processor just a gimmick, A6x dual core is just as fast on the benchmarks and actually has been faster in alot of instances, and you can google that to find that out

-Battery life (which we already covered.. when mine dies, I buy another for 30bucks.. you buy a whole new phone) iphone 5 battery life is equal or better in my expierence, and apple store will replace my phone FOR FREE if the battery goes bad. You cant bring your phone to a samsung store and get a whole free unit, maybe just a battery.

-5.5'' screen too big for me, I used to have a note and samsung galaxy s2 and I dont like a phone that big, I have tablets and multiple laptops. I prefer the smaller screen

-Powermat capable without excessive hardware (apple does not put inductive-charging chip's in their phone) useless, it charges too slow and how hard is it to plug in a cord

-NFC Useless and never used in the real world

My phone is NOT jailbroken. I do not feel the need for any facial recognition or photo sharing apps. It is not important to me, and I would never use that ****. Just a waste of space and processing power.

Seriously dude, anything you bring up will get debunked by me. There is nothing it deos better, sorry dude. I have had probably 50+ phones in the past 5 years. I am extremely familiar with android os, window mobile os, blackberry, iOS and palm OS.

iOS is by far the most smooth fluid OS out of all of them. Solid, most apps, best customer service.

Not to mention, software updates for android are CARRIER BASED. On my samsung galaxy s2, it took over 5 months to get ICS before people already had it. with iOS, there are multiple a year and it instant for everyone who owns the phone no matter what carrier they have.

You sound a lil sour jeez

Just trying to enlighten this guy who thinks he has this jedi alien ground breaking technology when in reality he has the same thing that everyone else and their grandma has.

I'm bored at work, this actually puts a smile on my face that people are this blind and fall for marketing.

HAY GUYS, SAMSUNG GALAXY KIN TAKE A PIC OF YO FACE AND SOME SOFTWARE CAN RECOGNIZE ITS YOU, SOOOO MUCH BETTER DEN IPHONE!!! Thats basically how he sounds to me.

You mad bro???? YOU implied your iphone was jailbroken, not me. "Features" are a "Convenience" therefore you question as to how hard it is to plug up a charge.. its not, its just convenient to come home and throw the phone on a powermat. And I suppose the thumbprint reader (for added security) isnt considered a biometric scanner in your book right? NFC is used EVERYWHERE from vending machines, to taxi's, movie theaters, restaurants etc. etc.. by those of us that have it that is:cool:. One day apple will implement it and you will realize how convenient it really is. Upgraded storage.. again, a convenience. If I want to throw a 32gb microSD with 25 movies in my phone I can without clogging up any memory.. then I can tap the back of my phone the the back of my brothers and S-beam the movies to him (yes, its kind of like the phone had sex) VERY convenient etc.etc.etc... but Im done arguing the points. Apple is no longer the master of their craft while admittedly they started the race; the world is changing and they are being left behind due to stubbornness.

I will paypal you $50 if you can find ANYWHERE on these forums where I stated my phone was jailbroken. I never said that.

You misunderstood me. I said, all of the features you are bragging about, I COULD get if I wanted them by simply jailbreaking my phone. I never said I wanted them. I find them useless, and obviously so does apple.

The fact that you think your phone has a "fingerprint reader" or "biometric scanner" built in goes to show you have no idea how the technology actually works. No phones are available at this point that have that sort of hardware built in (capacitive wires and optical lenses) It is NOT a real fingerprint scanner. It's a fake gimmick (again, all phones have capability to do this) that gets little kids all excited.

This is the same with facial recognition. The camera app takes a picture and another app reads it. Its not real.

Also, the iphone can do the "s-beam" **** too, it's a free app called "bump" and you just tap your iphones together. I never used it, probly never will. Why would I need to do that? I can just text or email the item that I wish to send, faster and without being close to the person. Stupid feature.

haha! You just reminded me of those commercials "theres an app for that!".. those things were funny! Anyways, there is an app for everything. Im sure there is an app for trying to nail your bestfriends grandmother, doesnt make it accurate or even mean it works for that matter. I have the Bump app on all my touch's (so I can transfer music between them without having to go to itunes) and its annoying. Very frustrating app, freezes half the time, but still faster than hooking to itunes and syncing.

implied past participle, past tense of im·ply

Verb

Strongly suggest the truth or existence of (something not expressly stated): "the report implies that two million jobs might be lost".

I didnt claim you "stated" anything, I said you Implied it. which you did.

Yes.. there is an app for everything and those would include fingerprint scanners and facial recognition. Which is what you have. The only difference is, the apps were already included from the factory, and used as a marketing ploy to fool people into thinking that samsung has some crazy hardware that others dont.

But if I wanted that stuff (which I DONT) I could jailbreak and have it all.

End of story.

My phone can do as much as your phone, you have one more inch of screen than me and have NFC and can remove your battery. I'd rather have a solid phone than a junky plastic one that has NFC. (NFC cannot be transmitted thru aluminum thus the reason its not in the iphone).

I have the option to have any phone in the world and I chose the iphone 5 after using SG2, SG3, note 1 and 2, windows phone, black berry etc.

I'm not hatin' on you as a matter of fact I really enjoy arguing about this stuff. I have been building computers since I was 9 and I have all sorts of electronics, it is my main hobby.

How can you claim to have used any of these when you yourself stated that you merely tinkered with one that a buddy owed. Maaaybe you are a fairly intelligent guy, maaybe your very tech saavy, but its ok to admit that maaybe your also not as well rounded as you would like to be being as you havent had any true hands on with the newer rivalry (Samsung vs. apple) where as I have both under the same roof, on the same network, and tinker with both on a daily basis.

How can I? I personally and physically have owned a Samsung Galaxy S2 and original Samsung Note along with owning a iphone 4s at the SAME time. I sold them both on craigslist, kept the i4s, and upgraded to iphone 5, then sold the 4s.

And yea I have played with the S3 and Note 2 quite a bit. My roommate has the Note 2. I think I know what I am doing on both sides of the game.

I have had sidekicks, blackberries, palm pilots, nokias, windows phone, anything you can think of that was a popular phone in the US I pretty much had at one point
