No gt mat, I used that before the reckhorn stuff and it's a world of difference the gtmat is horrible

gt is asphalt based, so it was not very sticky, i have some areas pealing up in the trunk, i would not go for that brand at all, what are u wanting? cheap or quality?

What i think will make i difference is i live in canada and we do not have as many hot days

You should be fine. Hot weather is where you run into problems

Why even make this thread? Its blatantly obvious you're stuck on this crap, so just buy it. Is it good? Not really, when compared to other stuff posted in this thread, but you're set on it, so waste your cash. Its better than nothing, but not as good as a quality product.

As much of a negative nancy that guy is ^^^, he's right in those cheap deadeners just being something thats better than nothing. Neither are no where near average quality. Asphalt based adhesive is junk in California summers. Keep in mind with GT mat(basically felt like peel and seal), you'll need double layers to achieve the results of a single layer of other mats. You are basically getting ripped off indirectly without knowing it. Had friends that wasted much money on fatmat and GT mat because they thought all deadener was created almost equally and the better brands do not justify the added cost. Well they were shut up immediately when they had to apply the 2nd layer and they still didnt achieve the level of deadening my single layer of stinger roadkill did for me. Along with all of it starting to peel on the hottest summer days.

No get the reckon horn 80mil and u would spend just as much as u would with gtmat or fatmat, the reckhorn is pure butyl and it sticks and works great , bc it's inexpensive all these stinger and other name brand folks stay away or don't know about it, but again for the same.cost it is a big difference

And use the extra money on mlv
