fat mat sound deadener?

I'm thinking about damping up my trunk for corsica. Will 25 square ft be enough for everything from the tire wells to the sides? also is this the best choice for $45. And will i notice a difference in output

Fatmat is not good stuff. Also, 25sq feet isn't very much. Any job worth doing is worth doing right the first time. Don't use asphalt based fatmat. Look into second skin, dynamat, or audio wrap.

ok, i didnt see the selling price for audiowrap, i went to there home page store. Dynamat is very expensive it seems. Thx for ur response, are there any others out there?

well audiowrap is just starting so it's really cheap. I'm guessing second skin is better and they have a lot of options with their stuff. Also Sound Deadener Showdown - Your Source for Sound Deadening Products and Information has some good reading and some good products. If you want audio wrap, pm sub2weeker. He'll hook you up.

I used FatMat with great success... Had it on over a year, -30* in the winter, up to 100*+ in the summer and I never had a single issue with it. Gained me a solid 1.6dB on the meter, covered my whole trunk, 2-3 layers, rear deck, and some on both doors and still had a little bot left over and I only paid like $100 for all of it.
