Fast 4 door cars.... help me out

the STI's arent known for the relibleness... car and driver had problem with there long term test car. think they had to do a new block/ and new trany.

and only had it for 23k miles. i test drove a 07 wrx, man it didnt feal as fast as the numbers said it was. but the ride was alot better than the evo

I vote WRX. I just ordered a 2011 for 26k out the door. If you can pick up a 2009 or 2010 for around 20k, do it! They have been tested 0-60 in 4.7 ( although driving it like this a lot will grenade the tranny)

Fast, fun, reliable.

07WRX's aren't extremely fast. 2008+ got the bigger turbo and extra power. Although I wouldn't get an 08 because a lot of the 08's had engine issues.

WRX/STi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So many good reasons... The Subie community is the best in the car world, they sound the best, they break the least (STis especially - invincible transmission) much more reliable and cheaper than EVOs, symmetrical (not converted) AWD, Double DIN drop-in HU's for all US models prior to 08 and a simple kit for newer ones...

Mine makes me happy every time I drive... scoobies have souls and personalities //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/inlove.gif.6846f78f06b405429ef3a00129788a2a.gif

STi: 0-60 in 4.5 seconds

WRX: 0-60 in 5.3 seconds

edit: don't forget you can 100 mph through snow and ice and dirt and gravel and forests and anything else where other cars would get stuck and be useless //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
ROFL? Every single Subaru ever made has blown/going to blow the driver side head gasket due to poor engineering. And as for the community...Well you are just wrong about that rofl, you just think that because that's the community you're involved in...Would you know about the Ford truck community? How about the offroad Jeep community? Would you have a clue about anything you hippie? Subarus ****.

09 sir had more - I have an 08. We have the TD04, 09+ has TD05. The 08 was "too soft" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I love mine. 50k, no issues so far.

Be careful with Ms3/ms6 too, the turbo 2.3 is extremely susceptible to engine failures. The connecting rods **** hardcore
Ya, there gernades if people try to low rpm full throttle them. like every turbo, i guess

If you are serious about fast sedans...Why would you ask the clowns on this site? There are whole sites/forums dedicated to fast sedans where people actually know what they're talking about...Lol.

A 4-door "saloon" called the Brabus Rocket goes 227mph...lol. There are real saloons/sedans out there for 20k you don't need to settle for garbage when talking about $20,000.

Lulz. That was my half-kidding fanboy rant. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I do in fact know about the other sectors of the automotive world - I go to a school where nearly every single person is obsessed with cars, as such I have seen a large assortment of their respective communities. Back in Cali I used to go to meets where hundreds of cars would gather, and all the different groups would have their little areas. The Subaru guys were always the nicest, most helpful people and it is the same in MI. I know some awesome people in the diesel truck community and the old old Chevy truck community I've met here. I don't think the Subie community is necessarily better than all the others, but it is filled with people who will wave to you on the streets, drive alongside for miles, help when you need a hand with something... There are a few @ssholes of course but that is the case with any large group of people. I would rather be a member of the Subie community than any other I have seen, (though I don't claim to know them all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif No one does).

Consumer Reports has listed Subaru amongst the top manufacturers practically since Fuji created Subaru. Reliability has always been high, and the only real weak link in the WRXs is the transmission, as it is the same one from the Impreza. You can beat the **** out of the engines and they will usually thank you kindly for it. Yes people have had issues with them, but the boxer engine on the whole is an extremely robust and reliable piece of engineering.

and joseph, mine is a sedan. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
