just wondering if i install a cap i know to have the fuse between battery and cap should i also put one between cap and amp? or would more restriction be bad? just wondering cause i dont want to have to blow the amp and end up bying a new one anytime soon. TIA

Don't bother with a cap.

If you are having power problems it would be a better idea to upgrade your alternator.

A cap is just another load for your alternator to keep charged.

No fuse between the cap and amp. Keep the wires short.

I agree, don't use a fuse between the cap & amp.
