familiar with this amp?? (Cadence)

I had an A7HC back in the day on 2 "the beast" 12's and it was probably the best sub amp I ever owned. I have been away from car audio for a while and don't know much anymore.

I would be using this amp @1 ohm on 4 E8's in a sealed box. I am more interested in durability with daily use than I am with whether it puts out rated power because I will have the gain turned down anyway.

Edit: gonna go with a Sundown 1000d "IF" they are still on sale anywhere in about a week, but this looks like my #2 choice.

Yeah, that amp was bad a$$. I had it on those Beasts in a single cab truck and it was LOUD.

Then I sold it all for next to nothing when I left to join the Marines. Wish I had it now, I know what amp I would be running. (live and learn, I guess)

^^I hear ya. I had 2 of them for a short period of time and wish I had held onto them. Nice small footprint and solid performance to boot. The plexi on the bottom was neat too.

My dealer was a good friend of mine and when he picked up cadence he ordered the amp for me.

I was the first my area to have one but there where a LOT ordered after the word got out. I never messed with any of their other amps though.

I hate cadence, I had 3 of there TXA 1000D's, 2 blown, one started making godawful running noises. Has 2 15" wild beast subs, sounded great, for 2 months until the coils let go

My TXA-1000d has been nothing but great, especially for the price.

jason doesn't work for cadence anymore and those amps are sold out again.
