I want to try and create a false floor to place my amps for my jeep. It has an original false floor that makes it 2-3 inches deeper than normal when removed. Im thinking of using mdf and carpeting it BUT dont know how to cut the wood to match the curves. and ideas?

pic of the trunk without false floor and box.

the gray area on the sides has groves. How do you cut wood to curve and match the groves?

The simplest way for most people is a jigsaw and patience.

cardboard template. just break up some boxes, and cut sections at a time and tape them together. take some measurements to make sure before cutting the mdf, but just trace the template out and cut
