factory tahoe sub

ok i have a 2000 tahoe with the factory sub in the back i'm about to do four 15's but that factory sub which is a 8" is blown should i replace it or just dont worry about it since the 4 15's will drown it anyway?

Are you planning to replace the stock head unit as well? If not then disconnect it (there should be some sort of a wiring harness attached to a little stock amp somewhere near the sub) as it will eat unnecessary power from the head unit.

yeah i just clipped and capped the wire from mine to the headunit when i put my subs in, cause trust me, its not to easy or convenient to get those guys out.
