I drive an 02 Explorer, and have been accruing parts for a killer system (Well, I think it will be). Anyway, the factory 300 watt system was going to have to do until I had all the parts, and yesterday the factory amp gave out. I don't have the money for installing my new system, yet. SO...I bought an 800watt MA audio, 4 channel amp off Egay. The idea was to hook it up in place of the factory amp just to get me by. And, it looked like it would fit behind the factory panel. The idea is, I don't have an experience with MA Audio. I'm thinking that it's probably low end stuff, but as I said. It's just a band-aid fix for 6 months, or a year.

Is this a decent amp, or glittering jewel of car audio junk? BTW, I already bought the **** thing! $79.

One other thing, I was running a pair of ADS 325im components for a little less than a year. Factory is great about not telling you anything about their factory component's ratings. I wonder if the ADS component's 4ohm impedance might have been on the low side, and pushed the amp too hard?
