Faceplate help!

I have a Rockford Fosgate RFX9020 that i uninstalled from my Saab, b/c it didnt have a faceplate.

I seen on ebay that there is the same model number faceplate for sale but for a marine version. I was wondering if the marine version faceplate would work on mine?

i would think so, the only difference would be water resistance and maybe looks....

should have the same internals, but I DONT know for sure.
