Also told that it will do 1 ohm, but power output doesn't get any higher (1200W x1). I've read in many instances that this amp can do 1300w+, but I have never gotten it tested, nor do I have a birth sheet.

Thanks for the offer, but I need to get a new amp that runs at 1ohm.

Doesn't your amp run at 1 ohm??? They are supposed to handle 1 ohm without a problem. I've ran mine at 1 ohm a few times and it has never given me any problems.

JBL BP series amps are 1 ohm stable, they just do the same power as 2 ohm.

the fuses say 40a x 3, but they are all 30a fuses...does that matter?

Doesn't your amp run at 1 ohm??? They are supposed to handle 1 ohm without a problem. I've ran mine at 1 ohm a few times and it has never given me any problems.

Yeah, the JBL 1200.1 runs stable at 1 ohm. I ran a XXX with it. They're supposed to do around 1400wrms at 1 ohm.

i ran this amp with two l7s in a ported box @ 1ohm and it performed like a champ. I got a sub sonic filter from ebay thats in line, and had no problem with my setup.
