I have an american Bass VFL400.1 for sale or will trade for a good sub amp. The amp has a blown power supply so it will need to be repaired. I called and got a quote on it and should cost about 175 to fix. I am asking 400 obo and no reasonable offer will be turned down.

A guy here locally, he said that it's generally around that price. I personally don't know cause I never had this problem except with my hifonics collosus and it was warrantied so it didn't cost anything

not to thread dump, but just so everyone is aware, if the power supply is toasted, there is a likely chance most of the FET's are toasted as well, bringing repair costs up.

Not a dump as that is a well known fact. Generally, when a powersupply goes, you have to replace all the fets. Well 9 times out of 10 at least.
