F#$K! Stripped T-Nuts. Suggestions to get it out.

Why didnt you just do this: Get a screwdriver underneath the sub next to the bolt, pry up to keep tension on it, and slowly back the screw out?

This is the first thing I did. Twice, with a lot of tensions. The thing is the T-Nut was connected to a MDF piece that was shredded apart and was still connected to the T-Nut. So the MDF would just spin in circles even if you try to put tension on it. I had a flathead underneath it prying it up and trying to unscrew it, and almost poked my eye out.

put the allenhead wrench in the screw and drill out the threads of the nut and screw in back and the rest of the screw will just pop out

I had the same problem and removing the bit head didn't work for me. I tried drilling through the allen head and broke two bits.

The only way I could remove the sub was by cutting out about 1/3 of the sub with a jigsaw and then ripped the MDF. You may be better off just cutting all the way around the sub. It's lame but it's about the only way around it. **** T-nuts. I will never use them again after that bullshit.

I usually stay out of conversations of this type but I agree with the majority here. The guy had a problem, asked for help, and then j@ck@ss comes along with a negative comment....but...to make it worse he attempts to slam all Americans. And as few people commented it looks like this is typical behavior for him. If only I were a moderator..........
