the st's are alright, stay away from the pro's, or stay away from them period. They sound shitty, but get decently loud.

Look for a deal on some decent used subs. Value drops on most used speakers the moment they are purchased.

I've been scouring craigslist for something good thats used but car audio is so dead around here. You rarely see a setup that didnt come from best buy

Craigslist tends to be expensive for car audio, as so many people pay full retail and expect to get 90% of the cost recouped when they sell used there (I guess that's why anyway). Try looking on the classified forum here, other car audio forum classified, and to a lesser extent... ebay.

I"ve ran 2 12" rsdc off a rsd1200.1. the 2 12" close to your budget and should get you close to your 4 10's. The RSDc are notorious for being able to handle MUCH more than the rated 600rms. I had a 12 rsdc at 1000rms daily for months, never had a problem
