Extra watts = damage to sub?

Well, some subs can take much more than what they're rated for. However, I'm not so sure about yours. So long as you set your gains right, you should be fine though.

You can set your gains to only produce 500w.

 
Funny part is im usually a search button nazi but i felt like some answers directly writen to me.

ps. on froogle these amps are like 200 bucks for a PG 8.0:1 why are they so cheap.
