Extra Battery For Sundown 1500D

My going to run a Sundown 1500 and a Sundown 50.4 in my s10 regular cab. Space is tight and about the only size extra battery I will fit be able to fit in the rear is a Powermaster D5100 (or a battery with similar dims).

How will this battery do with the 1500 @ 1 ohm and the 50.4? Do you think it would be decent? The only of battery I have now is a newer everstart battery. The biggest battery I can if upfront is a PM D1200 (or one of similar dims).

Factory alt ~105 amps or so. No power anything. has a/c & 2.2l engine. Big 3 will be done when I install the amps.

Will the d5100 in the rear alone be able to power the amps?

Sorry I edited the first post to clear things up.

I can only fit up to a 5100 in the rear. am working with limited space. up front i can only go as big as a d1200

Is the d5100 a pretty good battery?

the 5100 is to tall for using it up front that why i needed to go d1200 up front.

the pm website doesnt say anything about the d1200 being for a atv only

Different types of batteries are made to do diff things. The D series is made for audio (deep cycle) and the S series is made for starting (not deep cycle). The thinner the plates in a batt the higher output. But you should not deep cycle a thin plate batt. There is just not enough lead in a thin plate batt and it will loose it's ability to hold a charge over time.

That is kind of what I thought. Thats why I asked if the S series is just as good as the D for audio. I planed on putting the D series up front for extra deep cycle power for my audio (and to start the car lol). So to me it seems to make sence to use a D series PM up front instead of the S series and tear it up.

I am not dead set for having a PM up front either. I may go Yellow Top since it has a top post and side post mount (my truck has side post style terminals).

But for now I wanna use a PM D5100 in back as the dims on it fit the little area I have to work with and wonder if it will be stout enough for the Sundown 1500D.
