external port calculation question

Yes, a port calculator (like the one on the psp website) gives you the length needed WITHOUT taking into consideration the port displacement. So if ur box is say 2.0 internally, if u just want it externally all you need to figure out is the length.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
