Southeast Region External mic issue

So i have a Kenwood DPX503BT that i love, but.... I kinda wanna go with a 6.5"to 7" touchscreen. My issue is, the ones i have looked at only have internal mics for bluetooth, and no port on the rear for adding one, but they have an aux input port on the back near the wire harness. My kenwood has an external mic cord that the mic plugs in to. The plug is 3.5mm. My question is, can the mic plug into the aux port and function properly, like my kenwood does?

No. Aux port will not allow mic capabilities.
