I bought a Clarion xc1410 and realized that my HU wiring harness isn't long enough to reach the amp, which will be mounted behind the glove box.

Anybody know how I could extend the wires to reach this amp? Preferably keeping the color coded system.. Just not sure where to get something like that

I understand how to install an amp. I'm looking for color coded wires to go with the amp.

I've already googled myself out, otherwise I wouldn't be posting here;

thanks though.

so you are wanting to extend every speaker output wire from your headunit to your speaker level inputs on your amp, then extend your speaker wires from behind your headunit to the output of your amp? (any electrical wholesaler would be able to get your this cable in almost any colour)

Yes sir - I wasn't sure if there were simple harness extenders available, seems like it would be a handy deal. Guess not though. I think I may have room behind my HU, but it's going to be pretty tight back there. Hopefully this little amp runs cool.

Thanks for the responses though Side Show!

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
