ext cab help...

Ok, I’ve been look at a few different box designs (mainly http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137804), and I’m sort of at a loss on what I should go for.

Equipment-

Subs: Memphis PR12D4 x2

Amp: PA BB1250.1

Vehicle: 95’ Chevy S-10 ext cab

This is what I have to work with for room, and still be able to have some seat room.

Mainly what I’m looking for is good bass for everyday listening, mainly rap, and some rock. What would anyone recommend? I have all the materials & tools to build the box, mostly just need to figure out specs on it.

I can't find shit for specs on memphis stuff..

Pretty much found that they are 250w RMS, and "sound great in any enclosure" haha..

So I don't know.. Maybe do 2 cubes per sub and tune it at 30-2hz

Maybe a down firing box? hide the subs an port? Can the box be any taller? So you want it to be the full 41"??

I just looked on google and a lot of people said they sound horrible in sealed. I've been thinking ported anyhow. I'll throw a e-mail to Memphis to see if I can get some specs.

These little subs get loud...2.25 ea. tuned to 35 hz...60-70 in. of port for the pair .

you could do this. ported, and downfired.

remove the seat and a battery will fit perfect back there.

I think it will look much better, and then stuff won't fall on the subs or in the port.
