Ext cab Chevy box ideas

I currently have 2-07cvr10 kickers in a prefab downfire box on a planet audio bb650.1

running 900w rms @ 1ohm

They do sound good but I believe the could sound better. my friend recommended 2 ported 8's....I really want to port these 10's.

I was 16 when I took my backseat out. But that box you have in the original post looks pretty good (without any calculations).

thanks....I might try find some to build me one...would you know if the 1in seat raise mod would make a big difference in airspace?

Best bet for keeping the back seat in would be to build a custom box under the seat with subs forward and aeroports side firing.

If you don't use your bed and you're looking for serious bass, you could do a blow through. But that requires a bit of cutting.

Considering he is worried about parents with the back seat, I don't see them letting him devalue a truck by cutting a whole in the back of the cab/front of the bed.

btw-OP box looks decent. Try it, should come out ok if your a decent box builder.
