Explorer owners: help

I have a 94 ford explorer, and I know the fronts are 5.25's. If I wanted to upgrade to 6.5 components how difficult is it to do? I assume I have to make a custom fitting for them, but any help is appreciated, thank you. Past experience with doing this and how it went is great too, thanks.

u can make a baffles, rings that go over that hole and then mount the 6.5. OR start cutting doors

The front speaker holes are 5x7, and it's easy to make baffles that fit 6.5's in there. I've done it in both my old 94 and my current 96.

If you buy some very very sweet Boston Pro60's, it will come with adapters that work perfectly, otherwise they can be found on Ebay if you look hard.
