Hi, I'm having a little problem with a friends 1996 ford explorer. They had a cd changer in it, and took it out to put in a sony cd player head unit. ever since they changed the cd player the fuses keep blowing. I took a look at the hook up job but the wiring is a mess. I would like to know what the color codes are on the stock wires(what wires are for what) for a 1996 ford explorer. Any input someone might have on why the fuses would be blowing would also be helpful and appreciated.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...
