like the title says I would like to have a better understanding of the xover on a 2500d.

the switches are

full/12/24

dial from 30hz ~250hz

switch off/hp

dial 10hz ~ 150hz

dial Itelli Q

could anyone explain exactly how i turn on subsonic filter, and anything else about how this operates?

I've subscribed because I'd like to know a little more about this as well.

I guess maybe I'll give DEI a call since I'm not getting too much love here.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I'll post whatever I find out.

This is low pass crossover slope selection. Unless you're a hard core SQ listener 12/24 won't make much difference. You just don't want it on full. Generally, the higher the better.

dial from 30hz ~250hz
Low pass crossover frequency selector -- generally somewhere around 80 hz

switch off/hp
This is your subsonic filter switch.

dial 10hz ~ 150hz
this is your subsonic filter frequency selector. If you have a ported enclosure you'd want the switch set to HP and the dial set somewhere around the tuning frequency.

If you have a sealed enclosure you can either leave the switch off, or turn it on (HP) and set the dial around 20 hz.

dial Itelli Q
just looks like a hyped up bass boost to me. I wouldn't mess with it - leave it at zero.
