The only possibilites are that there was a difference in distortion levels or a difference in output level as previously stated..

Possibly he had less distortion.. Which means he dosen't know how to setup a system properly in the first place; and would get the same 'sound' at 1ohm by turing the gain down..
No, fegs like this want to dream about how damping factor makes the sound so much better and blow smoke about how class AB amps are so much cleaner then D's.. ect ect..
