You know thinking about this I wouldn't think it would matter because most pvc ports aren't even with the walls of the box... But it seems people always try to use side/top wall of box for port. Now does this matter? and if not does it have to be equal for example. side one of the port will be port wall. side two will be side of box. side 3 will be top of box. side 4 will be 4 inches from the side of the actual box.. It is because of where I have to do port placement. i wouldn't think this would hurt. if it would how much

A port does not need to be incorporated into a wall. Square port that is. Its just generally easier. Round ports.... should stay as far from a wall surface as possible actually.
As for your question on your specific port. If Im understanding you correctly, your square port would leave a 4" space between it and the wall. We would need to see a picture or get specific measurements before knowing for sure, but my main concern with that would be that 4" gap being 'dead space' in your box that the speaker doesn't end up utilizing well.

Post a sketch or something.

Crap I am bad at sketch I might see what I can play with later... The port would be at the TOP of the box taking the full width except.... like this the port..

TOP of the port would be the top wall of the box

bottom would be port wall itself

side one would be side of box.

and side two would have it's own port wall about 4 inches from the actual side of the box (this is due to firing through the rear window of a truck and a little less space than a thought) I am not worried about the dead space. I prob will "baffle" the space with a 45 to the port. Thoughts ? HOnestly I will play with paint and see what I can do but don't be surprised if I end up not posting it cause have a feeling it wont' be much better than what I am explaining now due to my horrible art skills lol

so what you're saying is instead of the normal slot wall taking the height of the box, shrink it down so instead of utilizing the bottom baffle for a port wall, you're making a 2nd free standing wall.

Correct?

Correct?
Sounds right. but side wall instead (not that it matters)
